Tiny moments. Big connection.
Tapu World began with a simple belief: learning begins at home, in everyday moments.
Tapu World was created for parents who want to be present, even on the busiest days. By transforming the objects already in your home into tiny moments of connection, Tapu helps you build a daily ritual your toddler will love—just 5 minutes of magic a day.
Because connection doesn't need perfection. It just needs you.

Hi, I'm the founder of Tapu World, and I'm a mom to a curious, energetic toddler who lights up my world every single day.
When my son was born, I knew I wanted him to grow up speaking Chinese—my native language and a connection to our family's heritage. But living in the US, I quickly realized how hard that would be.
I spent months searching for a Chinese-speaking nanny. The hunt was exhausting, expensive, and ultimately unsuccessful. Even when I found candidates, the schedules didn't align, the costs were prohibitive, or the fit just wasn't right.
I started asking myself: "What if there was another way? What if I could create a multilingual environment at home—without relying on finding the perfect nanny?"
One afternoon, I watched my son toddle around the kitchen, pointing at everything—the fridge, the fruit bowl, the cabinet handles. He wanted to know what things were called. He wanted to explore. He wanted to learn.
That's when it hit me: What if our home itself could be his teacher?
What if everyday objects—the things he already loved touching and exploring—could speak to him? In Chinese. In English. In any language I wanted him to learn?
I started creating Tapu World with one simple goal: to turn our home into a playground for learning. A place where my son could tap on a sticker, hear a word in Chinese, and feel the joy of discovery—all on his own terms.
No screens glued to his face. No pressure to sit still for lessons. Just natural, playful exploration—the way toddlers learn best.
Along the way, I realized this wasn't just about language. It was about independence. About building good habits. About giving my son the confidence to explore his world and learn at his own pace.
"Tapu World is the tool I wish I had from day one. Now I'm building it for every parent who's ever felt the same struggle—and the same hope."
